Turismo Chome Aventura

Turismo Chome Aventura is a pioneering sustainable tourism company based in Caleta Chome, Hualpén, in Chile’s Biobío Region.

Founded by Patricia Fernanda Silva Andrades — adventure guide, and President of the Nuevo Horizonte Fishermen’s Union, The company embodies a deep connection to the sea and community.

Guests are invited to experience immersive boat tours, guided hikes, and educational outings that highlight the rich biodiversity of the Pacific coast.

Since 2014, Turismo Chome Aventura has contributed to marine conservation by monitoring whales, otters, and penguins, sharing vital data with scientists. Each journey offers more than exploration: visitors discover the cultural heritage of Chome, including its whaling history, myths, and legends, while gaining a profound appreciation for the marine ecosystem.
