Air Moana

Founded in 2022, Air Moana is French Polynesia's privately owned domestic airline, bringing together a family of more than 300 passionate professionals dedicated to delivering an authentic, reliable, and premium travel experience throughout the islands.

Since launching operations in early 2023, Air Moana has experienced steady and sustainable growth. The airline now operates a modern fleet of four ATR 72-600 aircraft—Poeiti, Poenui, Poehere, and Poereva—offering one of the youngest regional fleets in the Pacific. The addition of Poehere in 2025 and Poereva in 2026 has enabled the airline to significantly expand its network while maintaining exceptional operational reliability and passenger comfort. Today, Air Moana serves eight destinations across French Polynesia: Tahiti, Raiatea, Bora Bora, Huahine, Fakarava, Rangiroa, Nuku Hiva and Hiva Oa, with Tikehau scheduled to join the network in 2027. In addition to its scheduled services, the airline also operates tailor-made charter flights for corporate clients, government missions, sporting events, and private groups.

Entirely owned by Polynesian shareholders and staffed exclusively by locally recruited employees, Air Moana is deeply committed to supporting the economic, social, and cultural development of French Polynesia.
