Kauaʻi Hiking Tours shares the beauty of Hawaiʻi’s island of Kauaʻi through guided day hikes, backpacking adventures and driving tours.
Guided by its mission, “Sharing Kauaʻi’s beauty with aloha,” the company draws on a deep love and respect for the island’s abundant mana, or life energy. Local guides introduce visitors to favourite places they explore themselves, inspiring understanding, respect and reverence for Kauaʻi’s sacred and often fragile environments.
Certified as a Sustainable Tour Operator, Kauaʻi Hiking Tours is among the island’s few hiking companies holding this recognition. It also holds permits from the Department of Land and Natural Resources and Hawaiian Public Utilities Commission to lead tours on state land and transport passengers on public roads.
Through its partnership with Kanu Hawaiʻi, the company promotes the student-created “Pledge To Our Keiki”, encouraging visitors to protect Hawaiʻi’s natural and cultural heritage while experiencing the island responsibly and supporting care for its communities.
