Vista Los Sueños Adventure Park sits on a mountain ridge above Herradura Bay, on Costa Rica's central Pacific coast.
The park is named for its view: from its lookouts, guests take in the Pacific, the bay and the offshore islands.
Its tours range from zip lines across the rainforest canopy and ATV and buggy trails that ford rivers and climb to ocean viewpoints, to horseback rides, canyoning, waterfall stops, rafting on the Savegre and a cacao-to-chocolate experience led by local guides.
Sustainability here is verified rather than claimed: the park holds Costa Rica's Certification for Sustainable Tourism at Elite level and the Bandera Azul Ecológica.
Days end at The Jungle, the park's open-air restaurant under the trees, minutes from Jacó and the Los Sueños marina.
