Vivy Travel, founded in 2019, takes its name from the Malagasy wild duck “Tsiriry” (Vivy), symbolizing sociability and resilience, reflecting the company’s goal to bring travelers together around authentic experiences in Madagascar’s nature and culture.
Inspired by the proverb "Tsy mba tsiriry vorona anie aho..." (comparing temporary and lasting things), Vivy Travel aims to grow and endure long-term despite challenges. As a tour operator, it prioritizes sustainability, minimizing environmental impact and partnering with service providers who share this commitment.
The team is composed of young, passionate Malagasy individuals dedicated to promoting Madagascar while respecting its resources. Additionally, Vivy Travel founded the VGH association, which focuses on environmental protection and humanitarian work, supported by a portion of the company’s profits. VGH funds projects like reforestation and awareness campaigns to improve both the environment and local communities.
