Lydcott Glamping

Widegates, United Kingdom

Lydcott Glamping is a luxury retreat nestled in a quiet rural location just outside Looe, with stunning sea views and 7 beautiful unique wooden-clad cabins.

Each cabin is fitted and furnished with stylish comfort in mind, including en-suite facilities with fluffy towels, a well-equipped kitchen – and naturally, huge downy queen-sized beds. Head outside to discover your very own firepit barbecue, complete with seating for late-night stargazing over toasted marshmallows.
Outside, relax in the huge comfy hammocks (big enough for 2 people!) or enjoy the plentiful outdoor space for some garden games. Located next to a working farm, you can really experience a taste of rural Cornwall. Enjoy freshly laid eggs for your breakfast and watch our much-loved chickens free ranging the site – you can even meet them and have a cuddle if you ask the owners!
Order one of Lydcott Glamping’s famous local hampers for your visit – choose from a Breakfast Hamper, local Cheese Hamper, or of course a Cornish Cream Tea Hamper – just remember it’s jam first in Cornwall! The bread and scones in the hampers are expertly baked fresh for your arrival by the owners, and all other ingredients are sourced locally from neighbouring farms. This little Cornish haven is ideally located to explore Cornwall or just relax and enjoy everything the site itself and local area has to offer – from the many stunning beaches (less than 10 minutes away), to cute little Cornish coastal villages, the famous and breath-taking South West Coast Path, National Trust properties, the Eden Project, Adrenalin Quarry’s giant inflatable water park and zipline, wine tastings at local vineyards, Alpaca Trekking and much much more.
With a mixture of different cabin layouts sleeping from 2 – 6 people Lydcott Glamping is ideal for a romantic break as well as a family holiday, with plenty to occupy the kids – or even book the whole site for bigger private gatherings. Private car parking on site with EV charging and located away from main roads. Well behaved dogs are also welcomed.
